Summer in April

When it's 80 degrees in April, wearing winter clothes is special, dressing-up fun. Couldn't get a good picture of both kids at the Easter Egg hunt. We take what we can get. Last pic: spotting a red-bellied woodpecker on the suet feeder in the backyard.

Post-Christmas in Ohio

Christmas #2 in Cincinnati was also great-- there was a new bird book for keeps! Photographic documentation, however, was not up to the Kansas standard, so we give you these meager two pix, plus playing in the snow back home in Delaware.

Kansas was VERY exciting, because it had entirely new bird books:
