Exploring Down the River

By Alex: We had a fun day at the park today. We walked in the creek. We got very wet. I slipped three times. Daddy preferred not to get wet. He would rather stay on the trail that followed the creek. We met him several times.

By Ben: We started at the end of Sawmill Branch Trail and went all the way down to the tunnel. Sawmill Branch trail was very long and steep. I wanted to get as wet as I could. I pretended to be a frog. There were lots of really deep parts. It was really fun. 

Alex: My feet are in a waterfall!

Ben: I was trying to make the picture look good.

Ben: One climbing up the rock and one coming down.

Ben: I didn't mean to be squinting. Alex: This part is deep.

Alex: I wonder why Ben is kneeling.

Ben: See, here I am being a frog.

Alex: This part is deep too.

The Funnest Trip Ever !!!!!!!

We went to Calvert Cliffs State Park on Wednesday! It was fun! First we walked on a very long trail called the Red Trail! It went to a trail called the Black Trail! It took us to the beach! It was fun! It was a long way. We had lunch at the beach. We played a lot. We went in the water a lot when we played. We scrubbed mud on each others' backs. We built a sand castle. We were pretty tired at the end. We did not complain very much though. The way back seemed longer because we took different trails. On the way home, we had smoothies. We both had chocolate. They were very good. Soon we went home. It was a fun trip.

Sports Season

We have been playing a lot of sports lately. Tennis, basketball, baseball, golf, soccer, and football. Especially basketball. We got a hoop and a ball at Target. We are pretending to be professional teams. Right now we are pretending to be the Washington Wizards and the Orlando Magic. This was all written by Ben. I am Alex. I am going to add one more last sentence. It is : What makes sports fun for me is that I am always with my brother.

 

A Cincinnati Christmas

We had a Christmas in Cincinnati. Some of our presents were the last ones under the tree !We had a big dinner too ! After dinner and after a little break,we had dessert!Aunt , Karen ,Uncle   Jason,  Evan, and Bret came to    our     house. We also played with the new stomp rockets we got. We also played in the snow!

Christmas Day in Baltimore

Christmas  Day in Baltimore was  so fun! Aunt Karla stayed over for the night.  I was so excited when we opened presents! I was very very happy when  I saw what my presents were! Some of my favorites were the stuffed skunk, a stuffed goose, a few other stuffed animals, a snowy owl kite, and our new bikes. Many many other people came over for Christmas Day. I thanked a lot of people for my presents. After supper we played a lot with our cousins, Lucy and Eric. There was pie for dessert! Now I am going to stop because I want to play my new game, Ten Days in Africa.

It was a very fun day when we went to Lancaster on Saturday . We  went to see an opera called  Amahl  and the night visitors .Our dad played the part of a king named Balthazar . Soon we found a parking spot .  First we went to the Prince Street Cafe . Soon we went to the opera . It was very fun and funny . Then we went to the market . It was beautiful .

A Very Fun Day

We had a very fun day today! First we went on a hike .Then we went to the Little French Market  for pastry! Then we went to buy a Christmas tree! Then we went back home again . Me and my brother played a bit . I had a lunch of Pink Lady Apples ,Cheese ,Popovers ,and some leftover pastry. The hill was steep ,but the thought of pastry kept me going.  I was so pleased that I got to take the pictures . I really liked taking pictures of all different kinds of things .
